2. Definitions
- Store — the e-commerce platform at rivero.shop operated by CHEM WORLD TRADE Sp. z o.o. under the Rivero brand.
- Customer — a natural or legal person placing an order.
- Consumer — a Customer who is a natural person acting outside their trade or profession.
- Products — goods offered for sale, including stock and liquidation merchandise described in our Stock & Liquidation Goods Terms.
- Order — a binding purchase contract formed upon order confirmation.
3. Scope
These Terms govern use of the Store, account registration, placing orders, payments, delivery, complaints, and withdrawal rights. By using the Store you accept these Terms. Separate provisions apply to stock goods — see Stock Terms.
4. Account
You may browse without an account. Registration requires a valid email and secure password. You are responsible for credentials confidentiality and all activity under your account. We may suspend accounts for abuse, fraud, or Terms violations.
5. Orders and Contract Formation
Product presentation is an invitation to offer, not a binding offer. Placing an order is an offer. The contract is formed when we send order confirmation by email. We may refuse orders (e.g. pricing errors, stock unavailability, suspected fraud) with refund of any payment.
6. Prices and VAT
Prices are displayed in the currency shown at checkout and include applicable VAT where required for consumers in the EU. For business customers (B2B), prices may be shown net of VAT where permitted; VAT is added at checkout per Polish tax rules. We reserve the right to correct obvious pricing errors before contract formation.
7. Payment
Payment is processed securely via Stripe (credit/debit cards and supported methods). Your payment data is handled by Stripe under their terms. We receive payment confirmation only. Order processing begins after successful payment authorisation.
8. Delivery
Delivery times and costs are shown at checkout. Risk passes to the Customer upon delivery to the carrier (unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer law). We ship to addresses within our stated delivery zones. Delays due to force majeure do not entitle cancellation if delivery occurs within a reasonable extended period.
9. Stock and Liquidation Goods
Many Products are stock or Amazon FBA liquidation goods sold AS-IS. Special conditions apply: no manufacturer warranty, final sale, limited or excluded withdrawal rights when acknowledged at checkout. Full details: Stock & Liquidation Goods Terms.
10. Complaints Procedure
Submit complaints to support@rivero.shop within 14 days of discovering a defect. Include order number, description, and photos. We respond within 14 days. If unresolved, Consumers may use the EU ODR platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
11. Right of Withdrawal (Consumers)
EU/EEA Consumers generally have 14 days from receiving goods to withdraw without reason (Directive 2011/83/EU, Polish Consumer Rights Act). To exercise: notify us before the deadline at support@rivero.shop. Return goods within 14 days of notification at your cost unless we offered free return.
Important — stock/liquidation goods: Where Products are stock or liquidation goods sold AS-IS and you explicitly acknowledged at checkout that the statutory withdrawal right does not apply (or is limited) to such goods, the withdrawal right may be excluded or restricted to the extent permitted by law (including Art. 38 of the Polish Consumer Rights Act and equivalent EU provisions). The checkout acknowledgment is stored with your order.
12. Liability
We are liable for non-conformity of goods under mandatory consumer warranty rules. For stock goods, liability is limited as stated in Stock Terms. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or lost-profit damages except where prohibited by law. Nothing limits liability for death, personal injury, or intentional misconduct.
13. Intellectual Property
Store content, logos, and software are owned by CHEM WORLD TRADE Sp. z o.o. or licensors. Unauthorised copying, scraping, or commercial reuse is prohibited.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Polish law. Mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence apply where required. For disputes with business Customers (B2B), the courts of Poland have jurisdiction. Consumers may also use courts in their country of residence where EU law permits.
